Véronique Jouval-Littlefield was born in Marseille, a diverse port city in southern of France. She has lived in the United States, Seattle primarily, for the past 16 years. She met her husband here over 10 years ago and they have two lovely girls, Gisele (turning 5) and Marielle (18 months), who they raised bilingually.
She is honored to be at Les Enfants de Seattle watching over your wonderful kids. She has been working with children for the past decade and feels very passionate and devoted about it: “My goal is to teach your children my native language as well as important social skills necessary for their ability to thrive, grow and achieve a great sense of self-esteem. I want to see them happy to come to school, able to make good choices and think for themselves. I am grateful to be working with them.”
Effie Dimitriadou comes to us from Greece, but studied the French language at the university. Her vibrant personality and ability to sing at a drop of the hat enlives our school. Effie spends her spare time teaching children at the Alliance Francaise and serving food at Vios.
Anne-Marie Canis was born and raised in Paris, France and has lived in Seattle for fifteen years. She studied Early Child Education at Renton Community College and has worked with children in Bellevue at Eaton School, the YWCA, and Kids Centre in downtown Seattle. She is a regular volunteer in Mountlake primary school’s Shakespeare program as well as at Seattle Preparatory in French Conversation groups. You will often see her walking her two small dogs around Green Lake.
Sebastien Leplat is from France and teaches our afternoon program. He has a newborn baby who was born in May with his wife. They live in Bremerton.
